Washington has definitely turned colors, signaling the end of Summer and the rapid approach of Winter. However, during the Fall transition comes a wonderful assortment of color that blends beautifully with the remaining greens. In this video, I visited the River Meadows Park, off the Jordan Rd in Arlington, WA, to fly the S. Fork of the Stillaguamish River.
This particular river section is straight, shallow, and has good tree variety yet its not always easy to find a flat launch pad since the bank is sloped and eroding. After some searching, and a bit of walking, I came across a small trail leading down to the shore. There was a flat pebble beach that was spacious and had killer viability up and down river.
Please join me on another flight, this time to some relaxing music by Philippe da Silva.
